A mentor of our's popped by the store yesterday. He is none other but the man behind Stabs clothing, Mr Shak. A very humble and helpful person who prefers to stay behind cameras and let his clothing speaks for itself. Stabs has been around for years and keeping it real since day one. We do put our money on this to say that Stabs is the very first homegrown streetwear brand to hit the international streetwear market. Stabs has got the utmost respect from Geseho. For many years now, we have been questioning and arguing about our street culture. May it be art, music, fashion, skateboarding, etc. We have been constantly struggling to find it's place in this small island. 15 years ago, we were told that Singapore was too young for these sub-cultures. It's always good to hear from friends from across the global. We have received an email from Orly (Cukui) a few days ago. He has just returned to the States from his traveling and dealing with the jet lag now. Here's a photo of Orly enjoying himself while we work our ass off on the next collection here. Kelvin Tan

A couple of weeks ago, Kelvin Tan dropped off a stack of his albums at our store. We checked out some of the tracks to find his sound rather experimental and unique. Kelvin has been in our music scene for more than a decade now. His work is as deep as his passion for music. And his determination to keep his passion alive is definitely something we should pick up. To show our respect for the man, Geseho Flagship Store will be playing his tracks all day long tomorrow.
